A fresh blossom she picked Once upon an old time This forlorn bloom is now stained, No longer so fine. Sweet childhood hope Where has it flown? Youth echoes behind her   She journeys on alone. The colors have faded Corroded through the years. But mem'ries of spring-tide Will never bring tears. Her face, set in stone, And so is the rest. Anything she can lose, She wants to repress. The playground of youth She has already lost Now she can't find her way, Choking sighs of exhaust. With a broken smile And an armor of lies She looks back to the day   Her childhood died.
